ferdy is a german animated series based on the book series "ferda mravenec" by czech illustrator ondrej sekora.

the series stars ferdy, who lives in a forest and always tries to help his other little insect friends.

and so he does.

as i said before he has many friends who are various species of insects, like woody (a beetle), mr. cricket, arambula (a spider) and this one green guy who i can't quite identify what he is + he has several english names, but i call him gobbler.

he's also dating a ladybug called gwendolyn. (she also goes by the name of laura in one of the english dubs)
